Bookstore trail details
The goal of the Cape and Islands Bookstore Trail is to share a love of literature and highlight the unique and diverse array of independent bookstores on Cape Cod and the Islands.
We begin the Bookstore Trail on Independent Bookstore Day and will end on Freedom to Read Day, which closes out Banned Books Week, all of which are very important independent bookstore occasions.
Document your travels as you explore our unique bookstores on Cape Cod and the Islands by sharing your experience with us on social media:

Visit at least 3 bookstores (or as many as your are able!) and enter to win one of two $50 gift cards OR a $150 gift card to the participating bookstore of your choice.
- Any bookstore will be able to supply you with a map of the trail, or you can print your own at home. (Click the Map header at the top of the page.)
- Ask for a book sticker at each store you visit to mark your map.
- Please note that some stores' hours change seasonally over the duration of the Book Trail. Please refer to each store's website or call for current store hours. Participating store information is listed below.
- Most importantly, have fun!
Choose one of three ways to *enter:
- INSTAGRAM: Post a photo of your visit to a participating store and tag @capeandislandsbookstoretrail
- USPS: Mail your name and phone number to Titcomb's Bookshop, PO Box 1045, East Sandwich, MA 02537
- ONLINE: Navigate to the Book Trail Entry Form heading at the top of the page, fill out the form, and submit.
